New Lasik Surgery Procedure has Unintended Consequences

Doctor's at Cedars Sinai noticed that whenever they took the new standard issue peyote/mandrake root mix prior to performing lasik surgery, the outcomes were not exactly what they expected.

Recently instituted changes in surgical protocols called for the use of an imaginative combination of deliriants, psychedelics and dissociatives by the medical staff prior to performing lasik surgery. "I thought it would be a great way to loosen things up in the OR," beamed Dr. Ziggy 'Puffdaddy' Ehrlichmann, newly named to the state post of Chief Medical Ethicist after the previous incumbent was picked up for buying unmarked vans and hanging around middle school playgrounds once too often.

"I don't get not," slurred Chief Resident Mort 'the Snort' Druckheimer, seen here performing a routine lasik post-op examination. "Most of our post-ops don't look this good," he giggled.
