Life Imitating Politics Imitating Life

Pope Benedict XVI apologized to Rush Limbaugh today for his remarks condemning the holocaust during a recent sermon in St. Peter's Square. "I don't know what I was thinking. I misarticulated. I have so much respect for Mr. Limbaugh. I don't want to diminish his unique view of history," the Pope cried as he beat his chest unmercifully with his pointed scepter. Distraught aides rushed the bleeding pontiff into a gaily decorated red Popemobile and sped him to an undisclosed day spa for a series of invigorating massage and tantric breathing sessions.
